Gustavo Cosaro and Mario Tagliati, who overcame poverty and orphanage hardships in post-war Italy, started "Two Gentlemen from Verona" in sunny Southern California in 1975. Originally offering wine, cheese, and service, they later expanded to create Picnic Time with the help of Sunny Road, a Shopify and digital agency.
